Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Utilize supplies and labor efficiently to enhance clinic operations.
  • Assist in preparing and updating billing logs.
  • Fulfill assigned duties to ensure exceptional patient care and operational efficiency.
  • Collect blood samples for lab analysis as per physician orders.
  • Review and document patient medication profiles monthly.
  • Adhere to health care professionals practice act requirements.
  • Perform duties under the supervision of a Charge Nurse, adhering to company policies and legal regulations.
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of patient treatments, activities, and communications in records.
  • Notify the Charge Nurse of any significant changes in patient conditions.
  • Report equipment issues to the Biomedical Technician and Administrator.
  • Engage in staff meetings and attend required in-service and continuing education programs.
  • Assist in training staff as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Current LVN/LPN license in the applicable state, in good standing.
  • CPR certification required within 90 days of hire.
  • Ability to distinguish all primary colors.
  • Previous experience in dialysis is preferred.
  • Successful completion of USRC training program approved by the Medical Director within 8 weeks of hire.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Excellent time and task organization abilities.
  • Basic computer skills are necessary; proficiency in USRC clinical applications required within 90 days of hire.
  • Must meet any additional state practice requirements.
