IT Business Analyst

Location: Pennington, NJ (Hybrid)
Salary: $140,000-$160,000

Our client, a leading organization in the pharmaceutical sales and distribution industry, is seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst to join their dynamic team. This role is ideal for a professional who combines strong technical expertise with business acumen and a passion for driving process innovation.

The successful candidate will have proven experience with SAP S/4HANA (SD, FI, MM, PP, QM modules) and Vistex Revenue Management in a business-facing capacity. You'll work across finance, supply chain, sales, and revenue management functions to design effective solutions, streamline operations, and apply modern technologies - including AI, automation, and machine learning - to elevate performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement to optimize efficiency and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Perform data analysis to identify trends, root causes, and actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain key documentation including process flows, system architecture diagrams, and business cases.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to configure, integrate, and optimize solutions.
  • Lead and support testing activities, including system validation and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communication to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Build and enhance dashboards and business intelligence tools such as Microsoft Fabric BI.
  • Conduct user training sessions and create documentation to support adoption of new technologies and systems.


Required Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within the pharmaceutical sales and distribution sector.
  • Hands-on expertise with SAP S/4HANA (SD, FI, MM, PP, QM modules) and Vistex Revenue Management.
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical processes such as Government Pricing, Medicaid, Chargebacks, and Gross-to-Net (GTN).
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to bridge technical and business discussions effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive, self-driven approach.


Preferred Experience
  • Exposure to:
    • Microsoft Fabric, Salesforce Service Cloud, Tracelink Serialization
    • Azure or AWS cloud platforms
    • Project management tools (Planview, JIRA, ALM, Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps)
    • AI/ML platforms (Azure AI, Google AI, AWS ML)
    • Python, R, SQL, and RPA tools (UiPath, Automation Anywhere)
  • PMP or Agile certification is an asset.


Work Environment
  • Hybrid work model with occasional domestic and international travel.
  • Standard office-based physical requirements (sitting, standing, computer use, etc.).
