Our client, a leading technology firm, is seeking a Java Developer to join their team. As a Java Developer, you will be part of the software development department supporting innovative projects. The ideal candidate will have strong teamwork skills, a passion for technology, and a commitment to excellence which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Java Developer

Location: Chicago, IL 100% onsite

Pay Range: Pay during the contract $50 to $70 per hour W-2
Contract to possible hire role

What's the Job?

  • Develop and maintain Java applications in a collaborative environment.
  • Utilize SpringBoot framework and RESTful services to enhance application functionality.
  • Work with RDBMS technologies such as SQL, Postgres, and Oracle.
  • Participate in Agile processes including daily standups and team collaboration.
  • Contribute to architectural discussions and design across various systems.
What's Needed?
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of Java development experience is essential.
  • 2+ years of experience with RDBMS technologies.
  • Solid experience working in an AWS environment.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • Advanced knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines.
  • Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals, and passionate about building an innovative culture.
  • Familiarity with distributed systems CI/DC and modern DevOps practices
