For over 50 years, physicians from Intermountain Health and National Jewish Health have collaborated to create a heart and vascular program renowned for exceptional quality and innovative cardiovascular treatments.
As a Cardiothoracic Surgeon, you will join a team of 2 other surgeons and 4 Advanced Practitioners to provide superior care. Key highlights of this position include:
- Practice at Saint Joseph Hospital, located in downtown Denver, CO.
- The hospital has received 3-out-of-3 stars from the Society of Thoracic Surgeons for outstanding patient care and outcomes.
- Only take Q3 call at one hospital while benefiting from APPs taking Q4 floor/ICU/practice/OR call.
- A large, established CT practice with strong collaborative relationships and referral patterns.
- Full ICU support available with a dedicated group of Intensivists on-site 24/7.
- Participate in a busy Structural Heart Program with the highest volume of Mitraclips in the state, alongside ongoing structural heart trials and Evoque implantation.
- Be part of a dedicated shock program at an ECMO site.
- Join a physician-led Medical Group with extensive administrative support.
How we support you:
- Competitive initial base salary of $800,000 plus a wRVU bonus incentive, with an additional $75,000 annual quality bonus.
- A $25,000 starting bonus and potential for a relocation bonus.
- A generous benefits package including paid time off, license reimbursement, malpractice insurance coverage, and an annual CME allowance to foster growth and development.
What you'll bring:
- MD/DO Education.
- Unrestricted license in Colorado or ability to obtain one.
- Board Certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery.
- DEA certification.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience.
- Demonstrated ability to build an aggressive CV surgery program or interest in establishing a specialty.
