The Houston Methodist J.C. Walter Jr. Transplant Center is cited as one of the nation's most successful multi-organ transplant centers (No. 5 nationally) and among the highest-volume kidney transplant programs in the country, performing nearly 300 kidney transplants annually. Our program is known for outstanding outcomes, innovation, and compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO from an accredited institution

  • Completion of Nephrology fellowship (Transplant Nephrology preferred)

  • Board Certified/Eligible in Nephrology

  • Eligible for Texas medical license
