Backyard Breaks is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Fulfillment Associate to join our on-site team in Fort Lauderdale, FL. In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring orders are packed accurately, cards are protected properly, and our fulfillment operation runs smoothly every day.
You'll work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where efficiency, organization, and pride in your work directly contribute to the customer experience.
What You'll Do
- Pack and sort orders efficiently and accurately
- Assemble base card packs and ensure all components are properly put together
- Keep the fulfillment area clean, organized, and running smoothly
- Sleeve and case cards to protect product quality
- Follow proper packing procedures to ensure safe, secure shipment of all items
- Support the fulfillment manager and director with additional tasks as needed
- Strong common sense and sound decision-making skills
- Good reading comprehension and the ability to follow detailed instructions
- Ability to multitask and stay productive in a fast-paced environment
- A team-oriented mindset and strong communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and focus on accuracy
- Comfort with basic computer functions for order processing
- Willingness to learn new tasks and take on additional responsibilities
- Goal-driven mindset with a focus on efficiency and quality
- Previous experience in fulfillment or warehouse work is a plus, but not required
- Ability to lift objects up to-and sometimes over-50 lbs
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to look down, focus, and perform detail-oriented tasks for long stretches
- Willingness to perform various warehouse duties, including handling cards and packaging materials
