Windchill PLM Consultant

Location:

Introduction

We are seeking an experienced consultant to join our team and lead the delivery of sustaining system updates for our enterprise-wide PLM platform, PTC Windchill. This role is pivotal in driving technical solutions and aligning business and technical partners within the Medical Devices industry.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • At least 10 years of Windchill PLM domain experience
  • At least 5 years of experience delivering technical solutions for business problems
  • At least 5 years of experience with Windchill PLM in the Medical Devices industry
  • At least 5 years of experience with PTC Windchill PDMLink, ProjectLink
  • At least 3 years of experience with PTC Windchill MPMLink
  • Experience with at least 2 separate instances of implementations of a Windchill-ERP integration
  • Basic, practical knowledge of relational database architectures and ability to query Oracle databases using SQL statements
  • Strong understanding and experience in software development lifecycle process (SDLC), and agile methodologies
  • Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Independent working style with minimal supervision
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience leading a globally distributed and remote team
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical partners
  • Ability to shift between multiple initiatives/projects
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Understand user challenges and system opportunities, translating them into detailed user stories, requirements, and bugs
  • Evaluate requests for technical feasibility and alignment with existing solution architecture
  • Generate fit/gap analysis based on current state of system and business process
  • Lead a squad by setting priorities, defining scope, and communicating the future roadmap/vision
  • Educate partners on PLM capabilities and data architecture
  • Drive production system issues to result in actionable next steps
  • Partner with Product and Platform Product Manager(s) to maintain deep understanding of processes and priorities
