Job: Driver (CDL)

Hours: Full Time,Monday-Friday 7:30am-4pm

Summary:

  • To provide transportation to patients admitted in the Princeton House outpatient program across all outpatient sites. To provide courier service as requested by supervisor.
  • The PHBH Driver functions collectively with the outpatient fleet, primary location and routes will vary based on the needs of the Outpatient Transportation System. This position is not clinical. Drivers provide non-direct care services to children, adolescents and adults.
Responsibilities:
  • ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • 1. Provide timely transportation to patients admitted in the outpatient programs.
  • 2. Operate the vehicle safely and adhere to all applicable motor vehicle transportation laws.
  • 3. Provide courier service as requested.
  • OTHER JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • 1. Assist patients into and out of the vehicle, as necessary.
  • 2. Report any patient or transportation incidents to your supervisor.
  • 3. Maintain daily transportation log via Mediroutes scheduling system.
  • 4. Ensure daily maintenance of ride confirmations to facilitate billing reimbursement.
  • 5. Depart for assigned "runs" at specified times.
  • 6. Support customer service by maintaining professional and friendly presentation at all times.
  • 7. Maintain a clean and professional uniform appearance at all times.
  • 8. Maintain a clean and neat vehicle at all times to support a positive patient experience.
  • 9. Meet performance improvement goals of the department
  • collaborate with caregivers / staff, to enhance patient service.
  • 10. Maintain standards of confidentiality.
  • 11. Participate in unit compliance as related to established standards and attend department meetings as requested.
  • 12. As requested by management, provide assistance with general office functions or related tasks.
Credentials:
  • Driver's License (Required)
  • Valid driver's license in good standing in employee's state of residence and a record in good standing with the State of New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission and no combination of three moving violations and/or at fault crashes during the previous thirty-six months
  • Commercial Drivers License (Required)
  • Class C CDL with Passenger endorsement. Must meet all Motor Vehicle CDL pre-employment requirements. Drug-screen is required pre-employment and random alcohol and drug screens are required to be conducted by us annually.
Education or Equivalent Experience:
  • H.S. Diploma/GED (Required)
  • Equivalent Experience: •And five years' experience in the provision of appropriate services to youth
  • Drivers must be a minimum of 21 years of age.

Salary Range:

$17.38 - $23.98/Hourly
