This role is focused on finding and developing automated solutions. You'll evaluate business problems, identify cost-effective systems, and develop detailed specifications. The work involves testing and supporting the Solumina Manufacturing Execution System and its integration with Oracle or SAP ERPs. The day-to-day-
Analyzes and solves complex business problems by developing automated systems.
Identifies gaps in business requirements and provides technical expertise for system functional specifications.
Designs detailed automated systems and scales new and existing systems, processes, and procedures in a cost-effective manner.
Configures system settings and options.
Plans and executes unit, integration, and acceptance testing to ensure business requirements are met.
Provides consultation to users on automated systems.
May lead cross-functional teams to resolve business or system issues.
Works on and may lead projects of complex scope with little or no instruction, exercising sound judgment to obtain results.
May work directly with clients and other internal teams, such as Professional Services and Outsourcing, to implement company-wide, web-enabled solutions.
- Works with others to define the problem to be solved, and then works autonomously with little instruction.
- Obtains relevant, timely results and metrics by evaluating and adapting complex techniques and evaluation criteria to help determine appropriate methods.
- Uses advanced concepts and skills to resolve issues that meet objectives.
- May provide guidance or mentorship to junior staff.
- Other duties as assigned or required.
- US Citizenship is required.
- A bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred, though an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- 8+ years of Business Systems Analyst Experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
- Must be a skilled and creative problem-solver, capable of tackling complex issues with innovative solutions.
- A working knowledge of Solumina or similar MES platforms is highly preferred.
- Prior experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems like Oracle or SAP is a significant advantage.
Salary range
$101,000.00 - $160,000.00 / annually.
For specific work locations within San Jose, the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, the base pay range for this role is $125,000.00- $188,000.00/ annually
