Travel/Contract CVOR Surgical Tech - Up to $2700/week

Job Requirements
  • Education Requirements: Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program
  • Certifications Requirements: BLS (Basic Life Support); CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) preferred
  • Experience Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Surgical Tech in CVOR or General OR setting; 5 years for CVOR specific roles
  • Other Requirements: Ability to work on call shifts, strong teamwork and communication skills, and physical stamina to perform surgical support tasks

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide surgical support in CVOR cases, including set up, assisting during procedures, and ensuring equipment readiness.
  • Maintain sterile environment and adhere to all safety protocols in the operating room.
  • Collaborate with surgical team members, including surgeons, nurses, and anesthesiologists, to facilitate smooth procedures.
  • Document patient care activities, instrument counts, and surgical data accurately and thoroughly.
  • On-call availability for 6-9 shifts per month to support emergency and scheduled surgeries.
