Position Overview

As a PRN Certified Surgical Technologist, you will be instrumental in providing quality care to surgical patients. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing the operating room and assembling all necessary supplies and equipment for surgical procedures
  • Maintaining stringent sterile techniques throughout surgical processes
  • Assisting in positioning patients and ensuring their comfort and safety
  • Monitoring and supporting patients during procedures
  • Collaborating with the surgical team to facilitate optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications

  • Must be a graduate of an approved surgical technologist program
  • Certification as a Surgical Technologist (NCCT, NBSTSA) is required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
  • Hospital-based OR Tech experience is preferred
  • Ability to perform physical tasks as needed, including lifting patients and equipment up to 50 pounds
  • A strong team player attitude is essential
