As an IT Infrastructure Architect, you will be part of the IT Infrastructure team supporting enterprise operations. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, project leadership, and problem-solving skills, which will align successfully with the organization's high-performance IT environment.
Job Title: IT Infrastructure Architect
Location: Houston, TX- 77002
Role: Contract- Onsite- w2 role
What's the Job?
- Develop and implement long-term IT infrastructure strategies aligned with business goals.
- Architect and oversee cloud solutions including Azure (Functions, API Management, Storage, Key Vault, VNets, App Gateway, NSGs, Data Lake) and AWS.
- Design, configure, and maintain infrastructure components (Windows/Linux servers, virtualized environments, SaaS solutions like D365 Finance).
- Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and backup strategies in compliance with SLAs.
- Lead and manage infrastructure projects from planning to execution.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of experience in IT infrastructure design, development, and support in mission-critical environments.
- 3+ years of project leadership in infrastructure or application projects.
- Strong expertise with enterprise storage solutions (SAN, NetApp, cloud storage).
- Advanced troubleshooting skills for applications, networks, and databases.
