The Opportunity

We are seeking an innovative and dynamic Director of Data Platforms to craft and lead the strategy, development, and delivery of the Bridge Analytics Environment (BAE). This role presents a unique opportunity to create a foundational data platform that will act as the central hub for data derived from critical longitudinal clinical studies in neuroscience.

As the primary owner of a platform engineered for active discovery, the BAE will enable researchers to conduct advanced, cross-cohort analyses, share code and workflows, and ultimately, expedite the journey from data to transformative therapies. In a lean and mission-centered organization, you will be pivotal in shaping our technical strategy, team dynamics, and overall impact.

What You'll Do

  • Define the Vision and Technical Roadmap: Own the vision, strategic roadmap, and technical architecture for the Bridge Analytics Environment (BAE), ensuring alignment with the urgent needs of the CNS research community.
  • Design a Scalable Ecosystem: Lead the design and implementation of a state-of-the-art, cloud-based data ecosystem. Ensure the architecture is scalable, reliable, secure, and adept at handling diverse biomedical data types (pre-clinical, clinical, imaging, sensor, and 'omics).
  • Build a High-Performance Team: Recruit, manage, and mentor a multi-disciplinary team of Engineers, Technical Program Managers, and Bioinformaticians. Cultivate a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and innovation.
  • Drive Delivery of the Platform: Take full responsibility for the end-to-end delivery of the platform, from data ingestion and harmonization to implementing analysis environments and tools for sharing code and reproducible workflows.
