Core Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain long-term business insurance client relationships.
- Conduct phone and in-person cold calls to generate new business leads.
- Assess clients' insurance needs and recommend suitable commercial insurance products.
- Lead the sales process from prospecting and lead generation to closing.
- Prepare and present insurance proposals tailored to business clients.
- Assist clients with policy renewals, changes, and claims support.
- Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions and transactions.
- Achieve daily and monthly goals including outbound calls, quotes, referrals, and life insurance conversations.
- Follow established prospecting and follow-up processes.
- Answer phones professionally and assist with billing inquiries.
- Schedule and confirm appointments for life/health consultations and policy reviews.
- Assist with marketing initiatives as directed by the agency.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- General customer service experience required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word) required.
- Knowledge of personal and commercial insurance products preferred.
- Sales-oriented with a competitive spirit and goal-driven mindset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with clients.
- Ability to prioritize and manage a high volume of activity efficiently.
- Positive and enthusiastic approach even during busy periods.
- Empathy and professionalism when handling sensitive client situations.
- Ability to identify client needs and collaborate with licensed team members.
- Dependable, punctual, and focused during work hours.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
- Adherence to policies and ethical standards.
- Must obtain and maintain Florida 2-15 (Life, Health, and Variable Annuities) and 2-20 (General Lines) licenses.
- Complete all required company, state, and federal licensing and continuing education.
