American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist with home health experience to provide care across multiple communities in Massachusetts and requires active MA OT licensure.

Job Details

• Home health position serving various communities in the North Region of Massachusetts including Essex, Gloucester, Manchester, Rockport, Ipswich, Amesbury, Haverhill, Newburyport, and surrounding areas,
• Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM,
• Float role requiring travel within the home health service area,
• Patient ages range from birth through geriatric populations,
• Use of EPIC charting system,

Job Requirements

• Active Occupational Therapist license in Massachusetts required (license required if applicable),
• At least 1 year of certified home care Occupational Therapist experience,
• Minimum 2 years of experience in acute care, rehab, or homecare settings,
• Ability to register with the Board of Registration in Massachusetts,
• AHA certifications required,
• Proficiency with computer software and handheld patient care devices preferred,
• Strong verbal, written, and electronic communication skills,
• Ability to travel locally within the assigned geographic area,
• Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed,

Additional Information

• Deliver occupational therapy services in patients' residences addressing physical and cognitive impairments,
• Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and allied health professionals to coordinate care plans,
• Manage clinical, environmental, and financial resources for home health therapy,
• First-time travelers will be considered,
• Local candidates must have permanent residence at least 60 miles from Boston; those within this radius receive a lower rate,
• Parking costs may apply at certain locations,
• Timekeeping is managed via the UKG/Kronos system,
