We are looking for a Service Sales Engineer

Your mission as a Service Sales Engineer is to develop and strengthen relationships with customers and internal partners by listening, creating value and by following up on leads and opportunities that support business growth for our customers and our own business. Your success is determined by your ability to be customer-oriented, while finding the most suitable value proposition for the customer. You will develop a strategic sales territory, new accounts, opportunities and call planning. You will follow market trends and look for innovative solutions for changing customer and market scenarios. You will report to the Regional Sales Manager.

Responsibilities

• Attend to incoming customer requests and develop those into cross-selling and upselling opportunities.
• Follow up, qualify and respond to leads from different sources.
• Collaborate with other areas and sales teams and departments to develop opportunities and strategies to retain or recover lost customers.
• Conduct prospecting with defined target accounts, set up future meetings and develop sales opportunities.
• Conduct the necessary sales process to create value for the customer and each stakeholder.
• Identify and further develop contacts within each account.
• Prepare quotes for Fixed Price Services, Service Plans, and other services.
• Use business tools, such as , CPQ (iQ2), ERP (BPCS), among others, to gather necessary customer information for quoting, follow-up and to record activities.
• Process orders received, maintaining the integrity of the post sales process by acquiring the necessary PO, documentation, approvals and contract review process.
• Help keep the installed base information and customer records in both ERP (BPCS) and the CRM systems.
• Provide feedback to sales and marketing teams on market activity, competition and other relevant information.
• Conduct regular reviews with respective sales manager and CTS team.
• Contribute to team efforts, meetings and discussions.
  

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in the service business, prospecting and conducting systematic sales processes.
• Experience with compressed air systems or similar.
• Bachelors degree in management, business, administration, marketing, engineering or other technical specialization; relevant related experience will be considered.
• Customer-oriented, able to understand customer needs and prioritize them accordingly.
• Risk taker and able to act while coping with varied workloads.
• Well-versed with a computer, CRMs and database management.

• Potential earnings of $105,000 (base salary of $60,000-70k gross per year based on knowledge and experience, plus car allowance and commission).
  

Location

You will be responsible for covering the 5 boroughs and Westchester County. You will be remote.
