Compensation: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 annual salary (US Dollars)

Position Summary:

The Facilities Operations Manager is the key leader responsible for overseeing all components of facility management services, including but not limited to laboratories, controls, and fire life safety systems. This role establishes a strong commitment to safety and reliability within the client environment, ensuring that maintenance and contractor operations meet the highest standards to maintain 100% availability of mission-critical infrastructure. You will focus on continuous improvement across various operational areas including building utilities, maintenance processes, and specialty systems.

Job Objective:

This position manages overall facility operations across multiple critical sites, aiming to ensure employee safety, protect company assets, and foster strong relationships with clients. The Facilities Operations Manager will ensure adherence to company goals while enhancing client satisfaction and achieving successful contract management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and maintain all aspects of critical physical infrastructure for clients.
• Deliver high-quality work in mission-critical areas without disrupting internal or external stakeholders.
• Ensure the development and accuracy of site-level operating workflows and documentation.
• Manage ABM's response to after-hours facility emergencies efficiently.
• Effectively oversee the operations budget while controlling costs within contract parameters.
• Supervise all physical assets related to the operation and maintenance of infrastructure equipment and systems.
• Resolve electrical, mechanical, Building Automation System (BAS), and Fire Protection System issues efficiently, minimizing risks and impacts to business operations.
• Act as the primary contact for client-related facility issues, covering schedules, new business opportunities, projects, and budgets.
• Guide preventive maintenance inspections and provide problem-solving strategies.
• Plan and implement annual preventive maintenance shutdown programs.
• Utilize technical knowledge of critical electrical and mechanical systems to prioritize and track equipment history efficiently.
• Audit and maintain accuracy in CMMS databases, generating necessary reports for customers and managing system access.
• Ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLA) and oversee system change controls impacting customer operations.
• Meet training expectations and conduct monthly process audits.
• Evaluate and approve all subcontractors conducting on-site work.
• Develop scopes of work for preventive maintenance contracts ensuring compliance with contract terms.

Qualifications:

• Associate Degree or higher in a related technical field or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of relevant Electrical or Mechanical experience preferred.
• Experience from technical schools or military backgrounds in mission-critical operations is advantageous.
• Proficient in managing contracts and vendor relationships.
• Hands-on experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
• Knowledge of computer programming, PLC, motor controls, and electrical measurement tools.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Familiarity with local and IEEE Electrical Codes as they relate to controls.
• Experience in scope determination for installation materials.
