Manager of Pharmacy Operations

As the Manager of Pharmacy Operations, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient day-to-day operations of our pharmacy. This position is accountable for overseeing non-clinical pharmacy tasks while delivering exceptional patient experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead pharmacy staff and implement effective operational strategies in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Supervise pharmacy technicians and cashiers, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
  • Engage with customers to enhance their experience, addressing inquiries and resolving issues proactively.
  • Assist pharmacists with various patient care activities, including medication preparation and patient communications.
  • Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Drive improvements in workflow and service delivery, with a focus on patient health services.
  • Participate in community outreach initiatives, promoting pharmacy services and immunizations.
  • Ensure all pharmacy staff are well-trained, and maintain compliance with certification and licensure requirements.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • PTCB or ExCPT certification required.
  • A minimum of one year of experience as a pharmacy technician.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
  • Willingness to obtain immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous leadership experience.
  • Past positive performance evaluations with Walgreens.

Salary: The current pay range for this position is $22.50 - $31.00 per hour, based on various factors including geography and experience.
