Position Summary:

This position will provide project management leadership for the MedInsight implementation team within Milliman's Technology and Operations Solutions group. MedInsight is a healthcare data warehousing and decision support tool. This position requires both project management and healthcare business acumen. Experience with implementing data warehousing and/or large IT projects is highly desired.

The selected applicant will have direct, daily client contact and interaction. Some travel to client locations will be required. Strong project management and organizational skills are required for successful delivery of the MedInsight products to our clients.

Experience with healthcare data and an understanding of health plan operations are preferred. The selected candidate will lead a cross-functional team through all phases of implementing our MedInsight products with new and existing MedInsight clients. This position may also perform other related or unrelated duties as needed to meet functional team and/or project team goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • Ability to plan and manage concurrent projects; strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks with little supervision
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a diverse team environment

Preferred Skills

  • Healthcare industry experience
  • Strong, documented experience with healthcare data
  • Agile PM Methodology knowledge
  • Client consulting experience
  • Data warehousing and/or large IT project experience.
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project
  • PMP Certification

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher plus at least five years of proven success managing large/complex projects and/or delivering projects within the healthcare industry.

Compensation and location:

The overall salary range for this role is $71,700 - $131,905. For candidates residing in:

  • Alaska, California, Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York City, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington, or the District of Columbia the salary range is $82,455 - $131,905.
  • All other locations the salary range is $71,700 - $114,700.

A combination of factors will be considered, including, but not limited to, education, relevant work experience, qualifications, skills, certifications, etc. This role can be located remotely within the United States. The expected application deadline for this job is January 31, 2025.
