Beverage Service Specialist

Reports To: Bar Service Leader, Manager, Manager On Duty

Direct Reports: None

Key Areas Of Performance:

  • Deliver exceptional service and hospitality in bar and food settings.
  • Prepare beverages consistently with attention to quality.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of global alcohol brands and flavors.
  • Proficiently operate Point Of Sale systems.
  • Engage with guests, fostering strong public relations.
  • Handle end-of-shift financial reporting.
  • Support kitchen and service staff as needed.
  • Assist with special events.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area.

Physical Demands:

  • Participate actively in restaurant operations, including prolonged standing and walking. May assist with food production/service during peak times.

Work Environment:

  • Work in a dynamic restaurant setting that may include extreme heat and slippery floors. Safety attire, such as skid-resistant shoes, is recommended.

Position Summary:

As a Beverage Service Specialist, you will play a key role in driving sales and enhancing guest satisfaction through outstanding hospitality. Collaborate with team members and guests to create memorable experiences. Your responsibilities will include contributing to planning and training initiatives aimed at promoting guest satisfaction, cost management, and employee engagement.

You will uphold company policies and procedures to ensure a high standard of service.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in service excellence and customer-focused beverage/food service.
  • Familiarity with OSHA, EEOC, and food safety regulations.
  • Preferred knowledge/skills in Point of Sale (POS) systems.
  • Ability to perform all Bartender role duties effectively.
  • Food Safety/Food Handler certification is required.
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent communication abilities.
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
  • Basic math skills are essential.
  • Commitment to diversity and respect for others.
  • Capability to problem-solve and remain composed under pressure.
  • Willingness to multitask based on business demands.
  • Proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Availability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings is essential.
