Job Summary
Join our team as a Maintenance Mechanic Level B, where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring that our manufacturing equipment and plant utility systems are operating at peak efficiency. Your expertise will help optimize our production processes while maintaining compliance with industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Work schedule includes 5th Shift from 6 PM to 6:30 AM on Saturday/Sunday, plus one weeknight assigned by the supervisor.
- Hourly pay ranges from $26.84 to $29.84, based on experience and qualifications.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining and monitoring steam boilers, air compressors, HVAC systems, Water for Injection systems, and general building upkeep, including clean rooms and roofing.
- Implementing various efficiency improvements and managing capital projects such as HVAC installations and upgrading the Water for Injection system.
- Ensuring compliance with cGMP, OSHA, DEC, EPA, and local regulations related to the validated state of equipment, systems, and facilities.
- Building strong relationships with key vendors for technical support and hardware applications.
Requirements
- High School Diploma.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
- Proven knowledge of power transfer technologies including mechanics, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
- Familiarity with machine controls such as Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), relay logic, and operator interfaces.
- Understanding of high-pressure steam systems and HVAC operations.
- Experience with metalworking techniques such as machining and welding.
- Strong analytical troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, documentation skills, and the ability to work well with others.
