We are on the lookout for a detail-oriented and technically proficient Quality Assurance Engineer L2 to ensure the reliability and performance of our platform. In this key role, you will be responsible for designing and executing thorough testing strategies, automating essential test scenarios, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that truly delight our users.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing, executing, and maintaining comprehensive test plans and test cases for new features and platform updates across web and mobile interfaces.
• Developing and maintaining automated test suites using the appropriate frameworks and tools to enhance testing efficiency.
• Conducting functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to ensure products meet ThriveCart's quality standards.
• Collaborating with product managers and engineers throughout the development lifecycle to understand requirements and ensure robust test coverage.
• Identifying, documenting, and tracking defects, working closely with engineering teams to ensure timely resolutions.
• Participating in release planning and coordinating testing activities across multiple teams and releases.
• Monitoring production systems for quality issues and assisting in post-release analysis for continuous improvement.
• Contributing to enhancements in QA processes, tool evaluations, and testing strategies.

What you should bring to this opportunity:

• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, including functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Jest) and the ability to write and maintain automated scripts.
• Solid technical skills including understanding web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), APIs, databases, and browser development tools.
• Experience testing payment systems or eCommerce platforms with a focus on accuracy and security.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify edge cases and potential failure scenarios.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with engineering, product, and design teams.
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• A detail-oriented mindset, balancing thoroughness with agile delivery timelines.
• 4 or more years of experience in quality assurance or software testing, preferably in SaaS, eCommerce, or fintech sectors.
• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology is preferred, but equivalent practical experience will be considered.
• Certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) are beneficial, but not mandatory.
• Experience working in agile development environments with cross-functional teams focused on continuous delivery.
• Experience with payment processing or financial transaction testing is highly valued.
• Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter) or accessibility testing is a plus.
