Position Summary:
Join our dynamic team as a Kitchen Steward, where your contribution is vital to ensuring a clean and welcoming environment In this role, you will operate and maintain essential cleaning equipment, including dishwashing machines and hand wash stations, while taking pride in upholding our standards of cleanliness and organization.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Washing and disinfecting kitchen areas, tools, and equipment.
- Receiving deliveries and properly storing perishable items.
- Maintaining cleanliness in all assigned areas and managing waste disposal.
- Utilizing sanitizing chemicals to ensure dishes and utensils are thoroughly cleaned.
- Engaging in team efforts to enhance the overall dining experience.
This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with others. You will be expected to follow safety protocols, report maintenance needs, and help maintain a safe work environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Education: No high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
- Related Work Experience: No previous experience needed.
- Supervisory Experience: Not required.
- License or Certification: None required.
