Job Description Job Description Position Summary The Parts & Warehouse (P&W) Operations Coordinator is responsible for supporting all daily warehouse, inventory, and parts-related activities to ensure efficient operations across the organization. This role manages the flow of incoming and outgoing materials, maintains accurate inventory records, coordinates with internal departments, and ensures the timely movement of parts needed for production and service. This position will report to the Parts & Warehouse Supervisor. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Coordinate Inventory Transactions: Manage item reclassifications, job journals, and internal warehouse transfers in the inventory system Perform Inventory Adjustments: Complete all variance, cycle count, damage, shrink, and correction adjustments, ensuring accurate documentation Maintain Accurate Inventory Records: Prepare and submit required reports, track adjustments, and ensure all inventory data is updated and distributed to stakeholders Support Project and Job Costing Processes: Process charge-outs, job-to-job transfers, and verify parts usage for accurate project costing and monthly job closings Assist with Receiving Activities: Review receiving documents, resolve discrepancies, and support end-of-month receiving corrections Collaborate on Warehouse Operations: Work with Purchasing, Production, Accounting, and Warehouse teams to ensure inventory accuracy and smooth operational workflow Experience and Education Requirements 5 years of experience in parts and/or manufacturing Preferred Skills Knowledge and experience in production and manufacturing processes and techniques Experience with ERP systems; Business Central a plus Moderate knowledge of spreadsheets and documents using Microsoft/Google Apps Knowledge of quality systems and standards Knowledge of process improvement techniques Requirements Ability to build positive relationships with high-level people skills Ability to interact with people positively and courteously on the phone and in person Must show initiative and have great organizational skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to prioritize tasks according to importance in a fast-paced environment Multi-tasking capability without compromising on quality Dependable and able to work flexible hours Company Description Matthews Specialty Vehicles, Inc. has been a premier specialty vehicle manufacturer for over 30 years.
