Position Summary:

As a Desktop Support Technician, you need to provide technical assistance and ensure timely resolution of IT-related issues. This role involves installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining hardware, software, and various devices while monitoring and addressing service requests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide daily technical support for end-users, addressing and resolving IT-related issues.
  • Install and configure personal computers, operating systems, and client application programs, including Microsoft Office 2013, Outlook 2019, and Windows 10.
  • Monitor and manage the ServiceNow Remedy Queue to ensure prompt assistance for IT-related service requests.
  • Set up and configure Windows 10 workstations, label printers, document scanners, cameras, e-signature pads, credit card machines, Imprivata card readers, and other devices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems, including replacing hardware or reimaging systems as needed.
  • Provide desktop support by resolving computer, printer, and software issues, ensuring trouble tickets are closed in a timely manner.
  • Address and resolve virus issues by applying the latest virus definitions and Microsoft security patches.
Qualifications:
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide effective technical support.
