  • Duration: 13-week contract
  • Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (8-hour day shifts)
  • Hours per Week: 40
  • Call: 1 day per week and every 4th weekend
  • Estimated Weekly Salary: $1750 - $1790 per week
Surgical Technologist Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technician program
  • Current Surgical Technologist certification (CST or equivalent)
  • Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Surgical Tech in a hospital operating room
  • Experience with on-call rotation in a clinical setting
  • Up-to-date immunizations and health screenings (COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, Tdap, TB/PPD)
  • Successful background check and completion of competency assessments
Surgical Tech Responsibilities
  • Prepare hospital operating rooms for surgical procedures, ensuring all equipment and surgical instruments are sterile and ready
  • Assist surgeons and perioperative nurses during operations by passing instruments and maintaining a sterile field
  • Monitor and manage inventory of surgical supplies and equipment
  • Strictly adhere to hospital policies, infection control, and safety protocols
  • Participate in on-call rotation, responding promptly to urgent and emergency surgical cases
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
