Description:
Export Control Compliance Analyst (Contractor) to oversee and enhance our export compliance operations, ensuring adherence to the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and company policies.
This role involves managing and improving Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and optimizing export control processes to ensure efficiency and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in export compliance operations, classification, and regulatory analysis, with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with Export Administration Regulations (EAR) by providing consistent interpretation and guidance.
- Develop, implement, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to streamline export compliance processes.
- Track and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to assess and improve compliance program effectiveness.
- Oversee Export Control Classification Number (ECCN) classification, ensuring accuracy and maintaining detailed records.
- Support export compliance assessments related to international travel, visitors, deemed exports, and shipping.
- Serve as a primary resource for training and process optimization.
- Collaborate with R&D labs, business units, marketing, and sales teams to ensure technology and product classifications align with regulatory requirements.
- Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements to enhance compliance efficiency.
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in a relevant field.
- Experience in export compliance, regulatory analysis, and operations management.
- Strong understanding of Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and ECCN classification.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint) and experience working with compliance tracking systems.

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
