The Case Manager - Licensed is responsible for managing cases on Inpatient Units to ensure proper Patient Status placement (Inpatient versus Observation), obtain optimal patient outcomes, and utilization of services. This position will have direct involvement with physicians and other care providers to ensure care and treatment plans are carried out and that documentation is sufficient for quality improvement, compliance, and reimbursement efforts. The Case Manager - Licensed will assist with payor certifications and denial management as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited school of social work program
- Licensed Social Worker (LSW) with a valid license to practice in the State of Indiana
- Minimum of five (5) years of clinical or community health experience in nursing or social work
- Previous experience in case management or utilization review preferred
- Hospital EMR experience preferred
