Automotive Title Clerk

Reliable Chevrolet is looking for a customer oriented person with a positive attitude to join our fast-paced accounting team as a full-time incoming title clerk. If you are able to prioritize tasks by understanding the urgency of a project and occasionally be a to switch gears, we want to speak with you

- Monday through Friday schedule (occasional weekend/holiday hours may be needed for month end close)
Responsibilities include:
- Receive and process paperwork from Finance and Insurance team
- Prepare payoff checks for new vehicles and trade-ins
- Receive trade jackets on new and used car deals
- Run reports for trades
- Input inventory control information into system
- Communicate with various banks to check on status of a lien release
- Apply for duplicate title on trades without titles
- Obtain lien releases on paid off titles
- Maintain spreadsheet on trade titles for Controller
- File trade jackets
- Work with wholesale dealers to process wholesale trades
- Submit dealer report to Missouri Dept of Revenue by 15th of each month
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements include:
- Previous experience as an Automotive Title Clerk is required
- High school diploma / GED
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screen
- Strong communication skills
- Team Player
