Compensation and Benefits: We offer a competitive pay range of $26.10 - $39.15, along with a $10,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates and $2,000 for PM shifts. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:

Schedule Details: This full-time position involves evening shifts, with 8 to 10-hour shifts primarily from Monday to Friday, and requires participation in on-call duties, including overnight and weekend shifts in an 8-week scheduling rotation. You are expected to arrive within 30 minutes when called.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient surgical environment using aseptic techniques to prepare materials and equipment.
  • Assist in various surgical procedures as needed, demonstrating knowledge of different types of procedures.
  • Set up the operating room for each case, moving equipment and ensuring everything is organized for optimal efficiency.
  • Serve as a Second Assistant during procedures and notify staff of any equipment issues.
  • Transport patients, equipment, and supplies, ensuring readiness and accessibility.
  • Regularly check specialty carts and supplies to maintain completeness and effectiveness.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care specific to the age of patients served.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (to be obtained within 6 months).
  • No prior experience required; all recent graduates are encouraged to apply.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of aseptic techniques and operating room instruments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.

Physical Requirements: Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, carry items as needed, and perform various physically demanding tasks while adhering to safety standards. Protective gear such as masks and gloves is required due to exposure to chemicals and biological hazards.
