Job Summary
In this role, you will provide timely and courteous service to all banquet guests, encouraging the guest to return again and facilitate a next level banquet experience. You'll serve food and beverages at banquet and private events in a timely manner in a dynamic team-focused environment
Banquet Servers will
- Review BEO's for menu details, room setup, food, beverage and audio/visual needs.
- Assist the set up staff in table set up, buffet set up, bar set up, etc.
- Check quality and presentation of food before serving.
- Prepare and serve beverages for the function.
- Provide prompt and professional service to all guests.
- Have working knowledge of liquor, beer, wine and food that is served at the property. Suggest pairings of food to wine or beer
- Communicate with Kitchen keeping update on any and food ordering.
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Customer service focused, excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, likes to communicate with guests and associates.
- High work ethic and self-initiative
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment
- Flexible to work varying schedules to include nights, weekends, and holidays
- Someone who enjoys working as and being part of a team that provides great experiences for our Guests
- Job Hours: On-Call (ad hoc/as needed), Weekends, and Evenings
- Required Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Required Experience: 2-year banquet or catering experience
- Physical Requirements: Able to lift 30lbs frequently, stand/walk 6-8 hours
What The Center Club Offers
- Pay range $22.00 - $24.00/hour with starting rate is based on position and experience. Please note that The Center Club is a non-tipping environment.
