Here's What You Need Associate's Degree in Applied Science - Required ORCompletion of an accredited program in cardiovascular technology (Must obtain RCIS within 6 months of hire) - Required ORHigh School Diploma or Equivalent (Plus 2 years of work experience in invasive cardiology) - Required1 year vascular or cardiac angiography - Preferred OR2 years experience required if only high school diploma - RequiredCath lab experience for at least 2 years highly preferred , IR experience preferredMust be able to operate Xray equipment ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Upon Hire - RequiredGMRT - General Medical Radiologic Technologist (If ARRT only) - Upon Hire - PreferredRCIS - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (Obtain within 6 months if graduate from Cardiovascular Accredited Program) - RequiredLMRT - Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist (If RCIS only) - Upon Hire - PreferredRCES - Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (For EP labs only) - Upon Hire - RequiredBCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support (Prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly) - RequiredACLS- (within 90 days of hire)- Required What You Will DoPatient Care
