Join our team as a Major Gifts Officer and play a vital role in connecting donors with the mission of Pennon, WITF, and LNP. In this role, you'll work as part of a team that helps secure the resources that fuel trusted journalism, innovative education, and inspiring storytelling.

What You'll Do

  • Build and manage relationships with donors who want to make a difference through local journalism, telling stories of fellow Central Pennsylvanians, education work that impacts the entire state.
  • Create personalized strategies to inspire major gifts that sustain the work Pennon does to fulfill its mission.
  • Work closely with leadership, colleagues, and partners to identify and engage new prospects.
  • Share the impact of donor support through compelling stories, proposals, and stewardship experiences.
  • Represent our mission with passion and authenticity, showing donors how their investment changes lives of their neighbors.
Requirements

What We're Looking For
  • Proven success in major gift fundraising or a related relationship-driven field.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills-you know how to connect vision to impact.
  • Experience cultivating and securing leadership-level gifts.
  • Passion for journalism, public media and storytelling, and education.
