Safety Critical Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Safety Critical Software Engineer to join our team, playing a pivotal role in the development of cutting-edge safety-critical software applications. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on innovative projects within the autonomous vehicle industry, leveraging the latest technologies to ensure the utmost safety and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the development of safety-critical software applications, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
- Collaborate effectively with systems, testing, and development teams to integrate safety features seamlessly.
- Create and maintain Level of Rigor artifacts necessary for compliance with safety standards.
- Utilize modeling tools such as Simulink or SCADE, converting models to C/C++ for implementation.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in systems safety software engineering or a related role.
- Proven experience in safety-critical software development, with hands-on experience in relevant technologies.
- Experience with standards such as ISO 26262, MIL-STD-882E, and ASIL-D is highly preferred.
Work Environment:
This is an on-site role with the option for a local hybrid work arrangement, providing flexibility while maintaining collaboration and engagement with the team.
