Whitestone Associates, Inc., a 100% employee-owned company and leading provider of environmental and geotechnical engineering and consulting services throughout the eastern US, is currently recruiting a Geotechnical Engineer Intern

This is an excellent opportunity for engineering students to get real-life experience in the geotechnical engineering field. These internships are paid, part-time positions with flexible hours.

Locations:

  • Warren, NJ
  • Wall Township, NJ
  • Chalfont, PA
  • Allentown, PA
  • Rocky Hill, CT
  • Southborough, MA
  • Rochester, NY
  • Buffalo, NY
  • Tampa, FL
  • West Palm Beach, FL
Responsibilities:
  • Soil laboratory testing and coordination;
  • Assisting with materials testing in our on-site laboratory;
  • Geotechnical site research;
  • Some field construction phase testing and inspection; and
  • Assisting with soil boring and/or test pit investigations.
Requirements:
  • Pursuing a degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering; and
  • Ideally candidates will have taken and passed a Soils Laboratory class.


The estimated range for this position is $20-$22/hr
