Job Summary:

Join our dedicated team as an Occupational Therapist, where you will evaluate and provide essential treatments to patients with diverse physical, emotional, cognitive, and psychosocial challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine patients' abilities to perform daily living skills independently.
  • Develop and implement tailored treatment plans, monitor patient progress, and make necessary adjustments.
  • Guide patients and their families through understanding treatment protocols and assist in transitioning to discharge services.
  • Ensure compliance with established care standards while supervising designated care staff.
  • Stay alert and work safely at all times.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support team objectives.

Educational Requirements:

  • Must have a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field to obtain appropriate state licensure.

Experience:

  • No prior experience required; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand constantly, with frequent lifting and carrying of weights up to 25 lbs.
  • Frequent use of auditory communication and vision for various tasks.
  • Engage in regular movements such as walking, reaching, gripping, and data entry, with occasional tasks requiring bending or lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Regular interaction with patients may require occasional driving.

Licensure and Certifications:

Certification in Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (BLS HCP) required within 90 days of employment. Additional state-specific certifications as required.
