Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the full new hire process, including orientation, onboarding, and smooth integration into the organization
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to support recruitment efforts, including developing job postings, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and advising on selection decisions.
  • Provide guidance to employees and leaders on HR policies, procedures, and compliance matters, escalating issues when appropriate.
  • Oversee internal HR communication tools and programs, ensuring employees remain informed and engaged.
  • Administer employee recognition and engagement programs, helping foster an inclusive and motivating work environment.
  • Contribute to HR projects and initiatives, such as training programs, process improvements, and compliance audits.
  • Maintain confidential personnel records and uphold the highest standards of data privacy and professionalism.
  • Partner with HR leadership on strategic assignments that align HR practices with business objectives.
  • Other duties as business need dictates
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of Human Resources experience required; HR Specialist or Generalist experience preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and compliance practices
  • Experience with HRIS systems and reporting tools, with a strong eye for data integrity and process efficiency.
  • Ability to perform responsibilities with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; ability to influence, advise, and build relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
  • Demonstrated integrity, ethical standards, and professionalism in all aspects of work.
Education Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
