Data Scientist - Gen AI Resident
Washington D.C.
Pay From: $130,000-$180,000 per year

MUST:
Experienced Data Scientist
5+ years of professional experience in data science, machine learning, or AI implementation, including applied experience with Gen AI, NLP, or chatbot platforms.
Strong understanding of RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architectures, large language models, and AI/ML pipelines.
Experience working in a customer-facing, consultative, or resident engineer role.
Proficiency with Python, data processing libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy), and ML/AI frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and enterprise-scale deployments.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business solutions.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities in complex environments.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).

DUTIES:
ct as the main liaison and single point of contact for the customer throughout the RAG chatbot implementation.
Lead efforts to capture, document, and understand customer requirements.
Configure and adapt AI solutions to meet the customer's specific organizational needs.
Collaborate with Dell Managed Services to resolve platform issues and coordinate necessary system configurations.
Manage user onboarding and administration, including adding new users and building collections relevant to the chatbot.
Provide consultative guidance for onboarding new use cases and expanding AI adoption.
Deliver ongoing operational support, ensuring streamlined communication and rapid issue resolution.
Translate business needs into technical solutions that accelerate customer innovation and adoption.
Offer strategic oversight to minimize risks and maximize return on AI investments.
