Job Title: Chest X-ray Technician - Tuberculosis Program

Job Summary:
The x-ray Technician will follow rules and regulations established by the Radiology Technician Board of Licensing.
Individuals will take chest X-rays as ordered by the Nurse Practitioner/physician.
Positions x-ray equipment and adjust controls to set exposure factors, such as time and distance.
Use beam-restrictive devices and patient-shielding techniques to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff.
Position a patient and adjust equipment to obtain an optimum view of a specific body area as requested by the physician.
Provide privacy to clients during procedures and explain procedures to patients to reduce anxieties and obtain cooperation.
Maintaining high customer service and reducing client waiting time.

License Required:
ARRT Required
