University Health Truman Medical Center
Many UHP physicians have teaching responsibilities for residents, fellows, and medical students. The UMKC SOM accepts students directly out of high school for a six-year combined baccalaureate/Doctor of Medicine program. The UMKC SOM Graduate Medical Education program supports over 30 residencies and fellowships.
UH is known as "Kansas City's Essential Hospital" and is the safety net healthcare system for Jackson County/Kansas City, MO. UH is an academic medical center, serving as the primary teaching institution for the UMKC Schools of Medicine, Nursing, Dentistry, and Pharmacy. A 547-bed, not-for-profit health system, UH delivers the highest-quality medical care for our patients, with compassion, empathy, and unparalleled dedication to service. Job Description
The University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine, University Health and University Health Physicians seek a full-time clinical faculty member for the Section of Hematology/Oncology. Applicants must be board certified or eligible by the ABIM in Hematology and Medical Oncology. The individual should have the clinical, academic, and personal skills to contribute to an active academic section. The applicant must be committed to teaching, patient care, and research.
Academic appointment and salary commensurate with background. Salary commensurate with background and academic rank.
