What to Expect

You will be a key member of Tesla's Industrial Energy Growth & Content team for visual brand communications. This role will require your design experience and innovative thinking across multiple design tasks (photography, illustration, etc.).

The ideal candidate is highly creative, organized with attention to detail, a great communicator and can turn challenges into growth opportunities.

What You'll Do
  • Develop and design assets for marketing, sales, events, communications, web, and other graphic needs, incorporating Tesla's visual style in creative ways
  • Apply Tesla's brand identity cohesively across sales presentations, social posts, event collateral, merchandise, and more
  • Collaborate with designers, marketing managers, product managers, engineers, and sales teams to understand project goals and translate them into compelling visual content
  • Assist in maintaining and elevating Tesla's visual identity and brand standards across existing and new materials
  • Work with internal teams to support design production and ensure deliverables meet digital and print specifications
  • Occasionally contribute to design efforts outside your core expertise, such as 3D visualizations or motion graphics, while managing multiple tasks under tight deadlines
What You'll Bring
  • Degree in Graphic Design or equivalent experience
  • 2-4+ years of demonstrated professional experience in graphic design
  • A portfolio of work showcasing skills in typography, motion, illustration, and data visualization, and modern, minimalist taste
  • Ability to create and apply brand systems with a high level of craftsmanship
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud programs and Figma
  • Strong organizational skills, self-motivation, and the ability to manage multiple parallel projects while delivering high-quality designs under tight timing constraints
  • Excellent visual and oral communication skills, with a proven ability to build cross-functional relationships and incorporate feedback effectively
  • Technical knowledge related to graphic design production, such as formatting for digital and physical assets
  • An openness and desire to expand skills and toolset beyond aforementioned design software
  • Experience in 3D modeling, visualization, motion graphics, video editing, or illustration is highly preferred

Expected Compensation $88,000 - $186,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
