Job Description
Job Title: Cath Lab Tech
Profession: Radiology / Cardiology

Hours per Shift: 8 hours (07:00 - 15:30)
Experience: Minimum 1 year, preferred in cath lab and interventional radiology
License: IEMA and ARRT required
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, State licensed, IEMA

Must-Have:
- Proficiency in Siemens equipment
- Experience with MacLab recording system preferred

Description:
Needs IEMA and ARRT license for a radiology tech.
Requires cath lab and interventional radiology experience.
Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in cath lab.
Candidates must be comfortable working with Siemens equipment.
Proficiency in the MacLab recording system is preferred.
The schedule is Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 15:30.
On-call duty starts at 15:30.
On-call shifts will occur 7-10 days out of the month, including every other weekend.
Candidates must be prepared to complete labs within 72 hours of signing the contract.
Failure to do so may result in contract cancellation.
Required skills include accurate monitoring, angioplasty, cardiac stent placement, catheter/drain exchange, and central venous access placement.
Additional skills may include endovascular interventions, percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), and thrombolysis.
Candidates will work with adults and geriatric patients.
The daily census can vary.
Additional unit details may include interdisciplinary support and special procedures/equipment.
Comprehensive knowledge and skill in various catheterization and interventional procedures are required.
Compliance with state fingerprinting requirements is necessary.
Modules may be required and are completed during orientation.
