Job Description
Our growing Atlanta office is seeking an Electrical Engineer with three plus years of experience in the consulting engineering field, who is passionate about their craft and looking for an environment that promotes professional growth. We are seeking an Electrical Engineer who values their professional growth and wants to work with a high-functioning multidiscipline team. We value self-motivated individuals with an enthusiastic mindset, an interest to work on diverse projects, and attention to detail to deliver quality engineering services. Experience in healthcare, higher education, hospitality/housing, commercial and industrial projects is desired.
Qualifications
Requirements Include:
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university
- Registration as an Engineer in Training (EIT) (preferred)
- Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) in Electrical Engineering or working towards it (Preferred)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical design in the AEC industry.
- Demonstrated ability to work on multiple tasks with supervision
- Desire to learn and work with a team of professionals
- Experience with power system analysis software (E-TAP, EasyPower, SKM) is required
- Experience with lighting software (AGI, Visual Lighting) is a plus.
- Experience with medium and/or high voltage systems is a plus.
- Must be able to obtain a security clearance from the U.S. Government
- Experience with low voltage systems design is a plus
- Experience with federal project design is a plus
- Experience with the National Electrical Code
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Proficient computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD and/or Revit (preferred)
- Attention to detail, integrity, and personal pride in a job well done
