Mechanical Tooling Design Engineer

Seeking an experienced engineer to design mechanical tooling and alignment fixtures for a manufacturing environment. This role involves close collaboration with design engineers, drafters, and machinists. Fully onsite Monday-Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Design tooling and alignment fixtures to support manufacturing and optical assembly
- Collaborate with design engineers to develop tooling concepts
- Create detailed drawings using Creo Parametric or SolidWorks or CATIA
- Apply GD&T principles to ensure precision and manufacturability
- Work with drafters and machinists to support fabrication

Required Skills & Experience

4-5+ years of experience in mechanical tooling and fixturing design
Strong understanding of GD&T and drafting practices
Proficient in Creo Parametric CAD software

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Mechanical engineering degree preferred
Experience with optical components or systems preferred
Precision machining experience preferred
