Position Overview
We are seeking a licensed and experienced Physical Therapist to work with school-aged children with varying physical needs. This position is part-time, offering a consistent schedule throughout the school year, ideal for professionals looking for work-life balance.

Job Details
  • Contract Length: 30 Weeks

  • Schedule: Part-Time (Hours/Days TBD with school district)

  • Compensation: Up to $57/hr based on experience

  • Location: Baton Rouge, Louisiana area schools
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide physical therapy services to students with physical disabilities and motor challenges

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

  • Collaborate with IEP teams, teachers, and parents to ensure optimal care

  • Monitor student progress and adjust therapy goals as needed

  • Conduct evaluations and provide documentation in compliance with school district standards

  • Educate school staff and caregivers on physical therapy strategies and accommodations
Qualifications
  • Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program

  • Current Louisiana Physical Therapist License (or eligibility)

  • Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly preferred

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

  • Passion for working with children and making a positive impact in education
