Preferred Care at Home of Westchester County & Putnam is looking for compassionate caregivers to join our team. We specialize in providing in-home care for the elderly, helping them maintain comfort and independence in their own homes. Many seniors face loneliness and lack support from family or friends for everyday tasks. Our dedicated Companions offer the social interaction and companionship they need to enhance their quality of life.

Some of the tasks required of a Companion / Caregiver:

  • Companionship

  • Medication reminders and assistance

  • Grooming reminders

  • Preparing and cooking meals

  • Light housekeeping, general clean-up, dishes, and laundry

  • Shopping and errands

  • Transport and escort to doctor appointments, etc.

Qualifications (Preferred):

  • Home Health Aide (HHA)

  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

  • Personal Care Aide (PCA)

  • At least 2 years of in-home care experience

  • Driver 

  • Must be residing in the US
