Responsibilities

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Software Engineering Lead - Nuclear Systems in Jupiter, FL.Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead design, development, and deployment of IT applications supporting critical nuclear operations
  • Guide development teams through full software development lifecycle from requirements analysis to production deployment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, engineering, operations) to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
  • Architect and oversee integration of new applications into existing technical infrastructure and business processes
  • Provide technical leadership, code reviews, and mentoring to development team members
  • Partner with Business Systems Analysts to ensure technical solutions align with business objectives
  • Drive adoption of modern development practices, emerging technologies, and industry best practices
  • Ensure applications meet performance, reliability, and security standards for nuclear environments
Skills
  • 10+ years of application development experience with 2+ years in a lead/senior role
  • Experience implementing AI/ML solutions in enterprise environments
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices
  • Strong expertise in modern programming languages and development frameworks
  • Deep understanding of nuclear industry regulations and data security compliance
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with real-time data processing and IoT solutions
  • Experience with cloud platforms and containerization technologies
  • Knowledge of nuclear operations and regulatory compliance requirements


The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
