Senior Frontend Software Engineer

Duration: 6-month contract
We're looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to help build impactful, user-facing features across a leading cross-platform web browser. You'll work on projects that enhance performance, accessibility, and overall user experience while collaborating with a globally distributed engineering team.
What You'll Do
- Develop responsive, accessible, and high-performance user interfaces for desktop platforms (Windows, macOS, Linux)
- Contribute clean, maintainable code using JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and Redux
- Collaborate with product designers and backend engineers to create new features
- Prototype new ideas, write tests, and continuously improve code quality, performance, and usability
- Code reviews, documentation, and mentoring peers
- 5+ years of experience in frontend development using JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and Redux
- A strong sense of ownership and accountability for delivering high-quality products
- Background in developing and shipping large-scale, production-ready applications
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively
- Interest in emerging technologies such as AI and privacy-focused innovation
