About the Role:

The Virtua Colorectal Surgery Team is looking for a full-time Physician Assistant with at least two years of clinical experience in a hospital setting. The Physician Assistant will assist in the operating room with open, laparoscopic, or robotic colon surgeries, and will round on hospitalized patients, including evaluating consults as needed. This position is inpatient only and will be primarily based at our Voorhees and Marlton hospitals. Candidates must be flexible to also float to our Mt. Holly hospital as needed.

Virtua Colorectal Surgery offers specialized services for the diagnosis and treatment of colon, rectal, and anal disorders.

Services provided include:

-Colorectal Surgery

-Colonoscopy using GI Genius, an AI-enhanced technology to more accurately detect precancerous polyps

-Colostomy reversal - minimally invasive

-Surgical Treatment of anal cancer, colon and rectal cancer, Crohn's disease, diverticulitis, fecal incontinence, hemorrhoids, anal fissures and fistulae, rectal prolapse, and ulcerative colitis.

Compensation:

The starting salary for this position is $115,000.00.

The actual compensation package could vary based on factors such as, but not limited to, the applicant's experience, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
