Kavaliro is seeking a Project Manager to support a client in Orlando, Florida.

  • Demonstrate expertise in creating and maintaining project deliverables such as project charters, project plans, status reports, project timesheets, estimates, communication plans, reports, risk management plans, budget (work hours and cost), milestone/deliverable charts
  • Demonstrate experience in managing issues, scope, and quality while bringing projects to successful completion within the cost and time requirements
  • Demonstrate expertise in team building and leading teams
  • Demonstrate exceptional decision-making, organizational and time-management skills
  • Demonstrate competencies in project management with application development and deployment projects
  • Manage the design, development, and implementation of integrated solutions with both onsite and offsite resources
  • Coordinate with multiple vendors to establish work efforts, maintaining an overall project plan
  • Provide periodic project updates
  • Work with other team members to understand functional and technical requirements and identify and resolve issues and risks
  • Determine goals and priorities with management and key stakeholders
  • Negotiate the performance of activities with team members and their managers
  • Manage and communicate a clear vision of the project's objectives and motivate the project team to achieve them; create a project environment that enables peak performance by team members
  • Prepare project plan and obtain management approval
  • Analyze risk, establish contingency plans, and identify trigger events and responsibility for initiating mitigation action
  • Tracking and reporting on progress to plan, cost, and schedule reporting and change control
  • Manage relationships with project stakeholders, including internal and external clients and vendors
  • Involve functional expertise and specialists in design reviews and critical decisions
  • Manage change to preserve business plan commitments
  • Manage the financial aspects of the project: budgeting, estimate to actual variance, capital project management
  • Manage vendor relations and procurement related to the projects
Skills Preferred:
  • Prior experience with implementing procurement or supply chain applications preferred.
  • Prior procurement or supply chain experience preferred.

Experience Required:
  • 7+ years of Professional Project Management experience
  • 7+ years of managing Information Technology projects using formal project management methodology, techniques, and tools; Proficiency with the use of Microsoft Project required
  • Experience documenting/designing business processes, performing business analysis, and requirements definition
  • Strong leadership, administrative and organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and interviewing skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to make presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences
